This annual lecture honors a devoted and popular floral arranger, and lover of flowers and gardens, Sue Abbott. The lectures feature floral arranging demonstrations by metro-area floral designers.
Our featured floral artist was Laura Daluga, AFID, a 4th generation floral designer, accredited member of the American Floral Design Institute, and Certified Floral Designer. Laura returned Tuesday, October 13, 7:00 pm for our 2026 Sue Abbott Lecture. Laura explored the balance between architectural form and the natural movement of late season blooms, in her presentation, Where Structure Meets Stem.
