2026 Elizabeth Sites Kuhlman Lecture

Friends of Art & Flowers Kuhlman Lecture with Christin Geall:

Monday, April 27, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Christin Geall, author of Cultivated: The Elements of Floral Style and the forthcoming book Flora Culture: How Flowers Shape Our World, emboldens gardeners and floral designers to think differently and deeply about their work with flowers as she draws upon the fine arts and historical sources. In this presentation she will discuss floral still life from the Dutch Golden Age (1600-1800). Christin’s unique blend of botanical knowledge, aesthetics, and warm teaching style make her demonstrations a hit with all. Learn the practical skills of floral design while developing the eye of an artist.
