The Garden Center is proudly celebrating its 75th anniversary this year! We will mark the occasion following a sumptuous afternoon tea and the announcement of the judges’ top three garden designs. Our featured speaker is Janet Macunovich, on “Gardening as we Age.”
Janet Macunovich is a popular, well known, professional gardener and garden personality. Her love of gardening started at a young age and that passion became her full-time profession in 1988. She has written many books on gardening, taught gardening classes, started a popular Gardening A to Z website with an online school for gardening, hosted a weekly radio show, wrote a weekly gardening column for the Detroit News. “It’s been my good fortune as a professional gardener to work with many people and to see many approaches to this phase of gardening.”
