Tuesday, October 3, 2017 – Celebration 365 Fundraiser at War Memorial.  6:00 pm Cocktails, Hors d’oeuvres, Entertainment and Silent Auction. Tickets start at $80.  Support the work of the Garden Center. Please call GPGC office at 313-499-0743 for more information and reservations.

Saturday, October 14 – Betsy Campbell Lecture at the DIA.  English Roses in the Garden presented by Michael Marriott who has been integral to the development of David Austin roses. 2 pm; free admission.  This program is sponsored by the Art and Flowers Committee of the Detroit Institute of Arts. Thursday, October 19 – Garden Club of Michigan Flower Show from 10 am to 7 pm, view creative floral arrangements and photography at the Rivers, 900 Cook Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Free admission.

Wednesday, October 25, 2017 – Field Trip to Nordlies for GPGC Members Only Start with a 5:30pm Thanksgiving theme floral demonstration by Kim Peragine and then shop until 7:00pm. Reservations required and limited to the first 50 callers. Nordlies is located at 25300 Guenther Rd., Warren, MI 48091. Bring your checkbook! Saturday, November 11, 2017 – Herb & Holly Boutique presented by the Herb Society of America Grosse Pointe Unit. 9:30am – 2:00pm Shop for herbal items (food, gifts, decorations) made by Herb Society members. Come early for best selection as popular items sell out quickly. Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center at 20025 Mack Plaza GPW. Free admission.

Thursday, November 16, 2017 – Back to Eden, Landscaping with Native Plants – Berry Memorial Lecture at War Memorial.  Presented by Frank Porter. 7:00 pm Price: Members and Students $10, Non-Members $15.  Please call GPGC office at 313-499-0743 for more information and reservations.

Friday, November 17, 2017 – Native Plant Design Workshop at War Memorial.  10:00 am Frank Porter leads workshop to design a native plant garden.
